CCCSSA is a member of the National Foundation for Credit Counseling ("NFCC"). The NFCC has high standards for quality credit counseling and financial education, and CCCSSA complies with those standards. In addition, CCCSSA is accredited by the Council on Accreditation ("COA"), and independent third-party organization that reviews and monitors entities that provide social services. CCCSSA is a non-profit agency, organized and operated in accordance with Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
CCCSSA has over 20 years of experience helping people with financial problems. Our role is not to be judgemental, but to provide assistance. Specifically, this course is offered to you without regard to your ability to pay. Furthermore, CCCSSA will not pay or receive fees or other consideration for the referral of debtor students to us, and upon completion of the course, we will provide you with a certificate of course completion.
This course is designed to provide you with information that will assist you in rebuilding your financial life after your debts have been discharged.
CCCSSA is committed to protecting information we have about our customers and will safeguard under strict standards of security and confidentiality any information we collect from you in the course of our business. Information regarding the services you receive will be disclosed only for the purpose of documenting those services or as requested by you or your legal representative. The agency may compile aggregate information for the purpose of evaluating our services, gathering valuable research information and designing future services.
To help cover the cost of providing this course to you, CCCSSA charges a fee of $50, which is payable upfront. In limited circumstances, you may make application for a scholarship to cover all or a portion of the course.
Nothing herein shall apply to actions or claims under the provisions of the United States Bankruptcy Code, 11 U.S.C. Sec. 101 et.seq.
