Federal Trade Commission: The FTC deals with issues that touch the economic life of every American.  You can file a consumer complaint here or browse through the FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection.

The Federal Trade Commission's Website on Credit:  This site has information regarding credit, dealing with debt collectors, or shopping for mortgage/auto loans. You'll also find compliance requirements for businesses, recent law enforcement actions or register for the national Do Not Call program to stop telemarketing calls.
